Musician Edirisa Musuza, also called Eddy Kenzo, has been on the forefront demanding the modification of the copyright regulation.
He and the UNMF members have spent two years working with the federal government to seek out methods of amending the regulation.
However, in a well mannered dialogue with the Speaker of Parliament on Sunday night, Anita Among promised to make sure that the copyright regulation is amended very quickly.
“I’m going to do it very quickly, so long as you sing ‘Sitya Loss’ for me,” Anita Among jokingly acknowledged.
Eddy Kenzo believes copyright is the most important downside within the Ugandan music business, and if addressed, prosperity will observe.
