On Thursday this week, the Kawempe North constituency will head to the polls to elect its Member of Parliament.
Musician Kalifah Aganaga is among the many contestants, representing the FDC celebration.
Speaking forward of the vote, Kalifah Aganaga expressed confidence in his possibilities and believes the residents of Kawempe North will entrust him with energy.
“I’m assured of victory as a result of I’ve been to each a part of Kawempe North, and the voters have assured me of their assist. I consider they’ll flip up on the polling stations on Thursday and solid their votes for me,” he defined.
Kalifah Aganaga is competing for the place towards NUP’s Elias Nalukoola, NRM’s Faridah Nambi, and several other impartial candidates, together with Segirinya’s former political assistant, Alex Luwemba Luswa.
The by-election is being held to interchange Muhammad Segirinya, who handed away in January this 12 months after an extended battle with sickness.
