The opposition in Uganda is mourning the dying of Muhammad Ssegirinya, a comrade who endured immense struggles to rise from the trenches and declare the place of Member of Parliament for the Kawempe North constituency.
Ssegirinya breathed his final this morning at Lubaga Hospital after an extended battle with cancer-related sickness.
The President of the National Unity Platform (NUP), Bobi Wine, has led mourners in paying tribute to the fallen comrade, a person recognized for leveraging social media, notably Facebook, to publicize his political profession.
“Very unhappy information this morning. Our brother, our pal, our fellow chief Hon. Muhammad Ssegirinya has handed on. Such a darkish morning.

Joel Senyonyi, the Leader of the Opposition in Parliament, expressed deep sorrow over Ssegirinya’s dying, describing him as a real chief who went past strange management attributes.
“It’s unlucky that we’ve got misplaced him at a really younger age. We shall bear in mind him as a real chief who gave the whole lot for the wrestle. He has died combating for his trigger,” Senyonyi stated in an interview with an area tv station.
Kampala Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago additionally expressed his unhappiness, calling Ssegirinya’s dying a major loss at a time when his contributions to the combat for freedom have been drastically wanted.
