Kawempe North MP Muhammad Ssegirinya is going through a troublesome scenario: he is being pressured out of his workplace due to an enormous hire hike that he and his group consider is politically motivated.
Just after Christmas, on December twenty eighth, the owner immediately informed Ssegirinya he needed to depart by January seventh. The hire had skyrocketed from 700,000 to a whopping 2 million Ugandan shillings a month! The landlord blamed it on greater property taxes, however Ssegirinya’s assistant, Alex Luswa Luwemba, says that is simply an excuse. They suspect somebody is attempting to sabotage the MP’s work.
“We got no time to determine issues out,” Luswa defined, highlighting the troublesome place they’re in. Ssegirinya’s group has even uncovered proof suggesting political opponents and brokers is perhaps behind the eviction, presumably as a result of the workplace’s location is so handy for folks to achieve him.
Despite this setback, Ssegirinya is not giving up. He’s decided to proceed serving his group and is actively searching for a brand new, extra reasonably priced workplace, ideally round 400,000 shillings a month.
