Legendary comic Amooti shall be celebrating twenty-five years in Ugandan comedy on December 13.
However, he revealed that he hasn’t earned a lot cash from comedy because of the authorities’s failure to implement copyright legal guidelines.
“There isn’t any copyright legislation, so I haven’t gained a lot from comedy. However, I’ve come to phrases with it. I make individuals glad, and if I’m fortunate, somebody books me,” he defined.
Amooti added that he at the moment survives due to promoters who sometimes e-book him for performances.
His anniversary celebration will happen at UMA Showgrounds in Lugogo, Kampala.
