Musician Maro has made a major contribution to Ugandan music, serving to the careers of artists like Nutty Neithan, Zulitums, and others.
Speaking about Ugandan music breaking limitations and hitting globally, Maro believes Ugandan artists should make music in several languages.
He defined the necessity to combine Luganda and English or different overseas languages to enchantment to a broader viewers and assist them perceive Ugandan music.
“We should make music in several worldwide languages whereas sustaining our identification. Music that may be performed all over the place. Personally, I’ve had audiences overseas, however I did not have the precise music for them. They do not perceive Luganda, so we have to combine it with English, Swahili, and different languages,” he mentioned partially.
Maro believes Diamond Platnumz’s worldwide breakthrough is partly attributable to his use of Kiswahili.
