The Parliament of Uganda has pledged to present the household of the late MP Ssegirinya Muhammad 150 million Ugandan shillings.
It was agreed that 300,000 Ugandan shillings could be deducted from every Member of Parliament, with the whole amounting to 150 million.
Aisha Kabanda, the Woman Member of Parliament for Butambala District, defined that the cash will likely be given to the household to assist the kids and the mom of the deceased.
“We agreed to present the household 150 million Ugandan shillings. This cash will likely be put aside to assist the kids keep in class and cater for different wants of their lives,” she defined.
MP Ssegirinya was laid to relaxation over the weekend in Kadugala, Masaka District.
He handed away final week at Lubaga Hospital after a protracted battle with a cancer-related sickness.
